I'm passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and their families on their mental health journeys.
Currently pursuing my Advanced Standing Master of Social Work degree at Boise State University, I've built my experience working with young people in various settings, including a residential treatment center for teen girls and my current role at Primary Children’s Hospital in the pediatric inpatient psychiatric unit. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Utah Valley University.
My Story
I believe in the power of early intervention and the importance of family dynamics in fostering growth and healing. I specialize in helping young people and their families navigate challenges by teaching and reinforcing healthy boundaries to build strong, respectful relationships. I also help them identify the values that guide their choices. I am particularly passionate about empowering my clients to live meaningful lives aligned with their goals and aspirations. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and strive to create a safe, inclusive space where all clients can explore their identities, values, and strengths.
I am supervised by Jenivee Akalis, LCSW (7957629-3501). Outside of my professional interests, I'm a proud mom to two adorable cats and enjoy expressing my creative energy through sewing, painting, embroidery, and listening to music.
