Hello
I'm Maren Butler, CSW, and I'm passionate about empowering individuals to find their voice, recognize their worth, and create fulfilling lives.
As a Clinical Social Work therapist, I completed my Master's degree at Boise State University in their advanced standing program, graduating with honors. I also earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University. My experience includes working with adults in mental health settings and providing outpatient addiction treatment in a group therapy format.
My Story
I'm a strong advocate for weight-inclusive care and destigmatizing mental illness. I welcome individuals of all sexual orientations and am committed to providing a safe and affirming space as an LGBTQ+ informed therapist. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and understood. I help my clients remember that they are enough and worthy of the things they seek. I particularly enjoy helping people navigate disordered eating, poor body image, anxiety, depression, spirituality, faith transitions, self-esteem and low self-worth, trauma, and women's issues. I feel a deep calling to help everyone discover their purpose, their calling, and their true self-worth. My open-minded, empathetic, and accepting nature helps me create a safe space where you can feel comfortable being vulnerable and allowing healing to begin.
I am supervised by Dana Kroes, LCSW (9850877-3501).
